Berlin College – German Language and Urban Arts for Young Students is a great program to learn German and at the same time, be creative in the field of Urban Arts and photography. The campus is a green oasis in the famous in-quarter Prenzlauer Berg, in the centre of Berlin. The college has a 16.000 m² park-like campus on trendy Kastanienallee – with fancy clubs, cafes and designer shops just around the corner. The street is nicknamed casting ally because many films and fashion shootings are being done here. Berlin College – German Language and Urban Arts includes every day activities in the morning and evening with highlights such as the Berlin Wall or Museumsinsel. German courses take place in the afternoon, Berlin sightseeing before and after the courses. The focus is on urban arts and culture with workshops topics like Berlin street art or photography.

German program:
German lectures are designed for young students; classes take place during the afternoons from 3:30 – 7 pm and include 20 lectures per week. The activities, Urban Art and Photography session are being held during the morning hours before class – and during the evenings after class.

Supervision:
Guides will accompany the activities and sessions but the please be aware that there is no 24 hour supervision.
Accommodation with half-board:
Accommodation standards are high, half-board included, in student residences, either on campus or within walking distance to the campus.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

2 weeks or more prior to arrival: 200 Euro cancellation fee, rest refunded.

Less than 2 weeks prior to arrival: 30% of the total amount as cancellation fee, rest refunded.

No refunds will be made after classes/programs begin with respect to tuition fees, placement fees and junior summer camps.

If a visa is rejected and you provide proof of the rejection (e.g. the visa refusal letter),  the full amount except a) a handling fee of 200 Euro and b) the express courier fee if visa support documents were requested by express courier or standard mail.

Your Cooperation:

a) The school reserves the right to expel students for unacceptable behavior including but not limited to threatening other persons’ safety, breaking local law and not respecting curfew times, possession or consumption of illegal drugs and alcohol, smoking in restricted areas, deliberate damage to school property or place of accommodation. No refund will be given and the trip home is at students’ own expense.
b) Medical information: the school must be provided with all relevant medical information prior to a student’s arrival. Any student arriving with a serious medical condition not previously reported and requiring extra care/extra supervision, may be sent home without any refund and at their own cost.
