Many activities and excursions make it possible to learn about the life, the people, the history and the culture of Southwest Germany. Heidelberg, a city of science and research, the birthplace of philosophers and romantics, is home to Germany´s oldest university. Set in a delightful landscape, it is the ideal starting point for trips to numerous and interesting cultural locations and offers direct access to the metropolitan region named " Rhine Neckar", which attracts tourists from all over the world.
Cultural program:
The particular program depends on the season. Some examples are taking daily excursions, city and castle tours, museum visits, attending concerts, boat trips on the Neckar River, touring local breweries, wine tasting, visits to flea markets, neighbourhood walks, eating dinner together, etc.
Spring Language Course " Heidelberg Blossoms"
Heidelberg in a sea of vibrant colors and blossoms! In one of the warmest regions of Germany, participants can experience the early awakening of nature in Heidelberg. located in a romantic river-city-landscape triangle. Set in the backdrop of the flowering trees and blossoms, expect a subtitle hint of " Toskana in Germany "!
Autumn Language Course " Golden Autumn in Heidelberg"
" Golden Autumn in Heidelberg " a dream in red, yellow, orange! Wine vintage and wine celebrations characterize the fall season in our region. The special warm autumn light, which inspired the artists of the romantic period to paint their famous landscapes, let the colors glow around Heidelberg. Winter Language Course: " Heidelberg´s Christmas Tradition"
Christmas in Germany: candle light, the scent of fir trees, Christmas cookies and mulled red wine! The famous Christmas markets of the entire old part of Heidelberg is ornately decorated with festive advent lights, experience before Christmas traditions with all senses.
